Burkina Faso: President Ibrahim Traoré pays tribute to the security forces
The leader of Burkina Faso’s revolution, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, has issued a resolute call to the nation’s Defense and Security Forces (FDS), urging heightened vigilance in response to escalating security challenges, particularly in regions under intense terrorist pressure.
Captain Traoré emphasized the critical need for strict adherence to operational guidelines, underscoring that discipline, unity, and seamless coordination are fundamental to ensuring the success of military and security initiatives.
In his address, he highlighted the value of collective effort, reminding the forces that every success in the fight against terrorism stems from relentless dedication and unwavering solidarity among units.
He praised the troops for their sacrifices and reiterated his steadfast support, pledging to provide enhanced logistical, strategic, and human resources to enable the forces to fulfill their duties effectively.
Captain Traoré also called on the civilian population to play an active role by cooperating with security forces, sharing critical intelligence, and remaining committed to the shared goal of peace and sovereignty.
He concluded with a message of hope and determination: “Together, we will build a future of security and prosperity for Burkina Faso.”
