The summit will showcase significant regional projects, including the West African Power Pool, the Nigeria-Morocco gas pipeline, and solar energy initiatives in Mauritania, Togo, and Mali.
With backing from sponsors such as EDF, AMEA Power, Kekeli Efficient Power, and ContourGlobal, discussions will aim to foster strategic collaborations to bolster industrialization, agriculture, and other vital sectors across the subregion.
Key topics on the agenda include attracting investment for energy infrastructure, fostering regional integration through cross-border energy projects, and exploring the role of natural gas in the region’s energy transition.
A particular emphasis will be placed on renewable energy deployment, with ambitious goals set for 2030.
