Real Madrid players have launched a passionate defense of teammate Vinicius Jr following his surprise Ballon d’Or defeat to Manchester City’s Rodri. The Spanish giants, who had reportedly planned celebrations anticipating their Brazilian star’s victory, cancelled their flight to Paris upon learning of the result.
Breaking his silence on social media, Vinicius Jr posted a defiant message: « I’ll do 10 times more if necessary. They’re not ready. » His teammates quickly rallied behind him with an outpouring of support.
Eduardo Camavinga led the charge, denouncing the decision as « POLITICAL FOOTBALL » while declaring Vinicius « the best player in the world. » Aurélien Tchouaméni echoed these sentiments, writing: « Nothing can take away what you’ve accomplished, brother.
