This theme was central during discussions at an audience held on Thursday, July 11, between the President of the Togolese Parliament, Sévé-Tépé Kodzo Adedze, and the German Ambassador, Claudius Fischbach, at the Togolese National Assembly.
The meeting provided a platform for both leaders to review parliamentary cooperation between their respective countries and discuss common interests. Germany, a longstanding partner of Togo, supports various essential sectors of Togo’s development. With an ongoing cooperation portfolio estimated at 484.59 million euros, approximately 318 billion CFA francs, spanning from 2014 to 2025, Germany plays a crucial role in financing and supporting development projects in Togo.
This support covers diverse areas including infrastructure, health, education, agriculture, and renewable energy, demonstrating the depth and diversity of the German-Togolese cooperation.
