Burkina Faso/Counter-Terrorism: Fighters still at work to wipe out the enemy
The enemy in the bush now faces fighters immunized against defeat, vaccinated with courage, commitment, determination, and above all, patriotism. They will not back down from anything and are ready to defend their nation with pride and dedication. The daily recorded exploits are testament to this.
Between May 17 and May 20, 2024, several more wrongdoers were successfully dealt with by ground combat units supported by aerial operators in regions of Burkina Faso such as the North, Center-North, and Center-East, according to security sources reported by the AIB.
Some were taken down like animals for attempting to attack either the fighters or civilians, while others were caught during moments of relaxation or while exploiting a mining site. In all cases, these criminals tasted the wrath of the Burkinabè fighters, who carried out their mission with professionalism.
In these retaliatory and offensive operations, a significant amount of war materials and other terrorist assets were recovered. These include motorcycles, cattle, logistics supplies, loaders, excavators, backhoes, and other mining machinery used by criminals to search for gold.
Operations continue meticulously and with unprecedented intensity on all fronts to teach a good lesson to these wrongdoers who have chosen to live like animals in the bush and disturb the peace of the country’s honest citizens. The multiple and diverse support for these valiant and brave fighters remains indispensable.
