Burkina Faso : Dozens of terrorists killed in north-central and western Burkina Faso
The news from the front continues to be positive. Equipped with high-performance war materials, the combat forces are achieving remarkable feats on the ground. According to the Burkina Information Agency (AIB), the Burkinabe army made a significant capture on Tuesday, January 16, in the Namentenga province of the Centre-Nord region. Reports suggest that several terrorists perished in these airstrikes.
According to the AIB, the informed army, aware of a significant gathering of at least 100 terrorists in the Centre-Nord, did not allow the criminals time to finish their meeting before striking them.
On Wednesday morning, a commando of special forces counted several lifeless bodies of terrorists, which were consumed along with their logistics, added the AIB.
Further west in the Boucle du Mouhoun region, offensives led by the Burkinabe armed forces resulted in the decimation of about ten terrorist criminals on the same Tuesday.
During the operations, the Burkinabe patriotic forces razed a terrorist base discovered in the Boucle du Mouhoun, particularly in the Bokuy area, through well-fed airstrikes.
Territorial reconquest operations are ongoing in several regions of the country. Alongside the military, the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) are scoring victories against terrorist groups. These groups would do well to understand that the war has entered a new phase, and it is time to lay down their arms or perish.
