Togo/Education: Breakdown of the second quarter of the school year 2023-2024
In Togo, students resumed classes on Thursday, January 4, after a two-week break for the year-end holidays. The academic activities are officially back in full swing, marking the beginning of a little over four months of pedagogical activities.
According to the academic calendar, the second quarter runs from Thursday, January 4, to Sunday, April 21, 2024. It will be punctuated by various pedagogical and school activities, as well as relaxation breaks and Easter holidays. Specifically, the first period of classes has already started and will end on Friday, February 16, giving way to a relaxation break of about ten days.
The second period of classes will commence on Monday, February 26, and conclude on Friday, April 12, 2024. The Easter holidays are scheduled from Friday, April 12, to Sunday, April 21, 2024. The third and final trimester, the shortest of the three (03), will take place over 10.5 weeks, from Monday, April 22, to Friday, July 12, 2024.
The commencement of the long vacation is scheduled for Friday, July 12, and will conclude on Sunday, September 15, 2024.
