Burkina Faso/Fight against terrorism : Final victory imminent
The final victory in the fight against terrorism in Burkina Faso seems very imminent, given the achievements that the combat forces on the front continue to record against criminal groups. These criminals are currently being pursued to their hideouts, which are being destroyed under the devastating blows of aerial forces.
In the second half of the year 2023, the destruction of terrorist bases intensified, with many of them being raided and reduced to ashes by aerial fighters. The year 2024 began with the destruction of a large terrorist base in the central-north region of Burkina Faso. This security information was reported by the AIB.
The combat forces achieved a significant victory against the terrorists by bombing a large terrorist base in the Belga forest, in the central-north region, on Tuesday, January 2nd. Everything in the base was reduced to ashes thanks to the vigilance, efficiency, and professionalism demonstrated by Burkinabé intelligence services, aerial fighters, and ground units.
The military collaboration and coordination of operations, overseen by the determination and commitment of all actors involved in the fight against terrorism, will soon lead to a great victory for the « Land of the Upright People ». President Ibrahim Traoré announced the acquisition of significant military logistics that will further boost the combat.
After more than eight (08) years under the grip of terrorism and imperialism, the Burkinabé people can look forward to a new era. The final victory is not far off, and the Minister in charge of public service, Bassolma Bazié, was right to declare at the beginning of this new year that it will be the tomb of all enemies of Burkina Faso.
