Burkina Faso: General Abdourahamane Tiani expresses gratitude to President Ibrahim Traoré
Le 26th of July, 2023, the Nigerien people decided to put an end to misgovernance and manipulation. The military took responsibility to steer the country in the right direction. The rise of General Abdourahamane Tiani garnered support from all corners of the continent.
This unwavering support marked a turning point in the history of the Sahelian States. Burkina Faso is and remains a sister nation of Niger. Many countries in the sub-region turned their backs on Niger when the country needed them the most.
However, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, on the contrary, wholeheartedly supported his Nigerien counterpart. The Burkinabè President agreed to share his expertise with the CNSP authorities to make Niger a united, emergent, and prosperous nation.
As a gesture of gratitude, General Tiani made a trip to Ouagadougou to meet with the President of the Burkinabè revolution. It was an opportunity for General Tiani to thank and express his gratitude to Captain Ibrahim Traoré for the multiple forms of support.
For General Abdourahamane Tiani, following the meeting, the support of the Burkinabè people and their authorities enabled Niger to resist threats from ECOWAS to attack Niger and face the embargo imposed on Niger by the institution.
