The results speak for themselves: in 2021, gold mining generated 430.916 billion CFA francs for the state budget, and this contribution saw a dramatic increase in 2022, reaching 540.984 billion CFA francs. This remarkable growth represents an absolute increase of 110.068 billion CFA francs, demonstrating the significant economic potential of the gold industry for Burkina Faso.
