Burkina Faso: The «Phantom» unit, neutralizes terrorists

The «phantom» unit of the Burkinabe army in perfect coordination with air vectors from Burkina and Niger, neutralized several terrorists this Sunday, in the area of the three borders, according to images of bodies provided to the AIB by security sources.

The governments of the transition in the Sahel countries are no longer taking the lead in the fight against terrorism. The Alliance of Sahel States was born out of the desire to lead a common fight against terrorism in the Sahel, which allows mutual military intervention in the event of aggression by one of the stakeholders.

This alliance has therefore enabled military collaboration between Burkina Faso, and Niger has just achieved an exploit.

Indeed, in the afternoon of Sunday, October 22, 2023, a «phantom» unit of the Burkinabe army discovered at least a hundred terrorists under trees in the area of Goungam in Burkinabe territory. The aerial vectors of the Burkinabe army placed about fifteen km north of Markoye, fly over the base and confirm the information. Then, they send bursts of strikes on the terrorists who will be killed in explosions caused by their ammunition.

The phantom unit then goes up to the base. It sees on the ground terrorist corpses, motorcycles and burnt weapons. Then, she completes «the work».

Meanwhile, survivors flee to Niger, under the pursuit of Burkinabe aerial vectors. Once the border is crossed, the Nigerien air vectors will take over and follow them to Lélétan, in Nigerien territory. Despite their attempt to hide under trees, they will be struck down until they are completely destroyed by Nigerien aerial vectors.

The states of the Sahel have been ahead of the terrorists in multiple affronts. They have won and won. Terrorists today are hunted to their hiding place. This is further proof to remind people to support transitions, as they are committed to ensuring security and social development for all.
