Burkina-Faso: Terrorists neutralised in air strikes near Ouargaye
According to the Agence d’Information du Burkina (AIB), a column of terrorists on the move near Ouargaye (Koulpelogo, Centre-East) was surprised by air strikes on Thursday 28 September 2023. Several of the terrorists were killed.
Terrorists estimated to number «in the hundreds» were spotted by vectors and tracked to their point of convergence in a hamlet near Ouargaye.
As they moved from the forests of kankanmogré and kabonga on their dark mission, air strikes fell on them, inflicting very heavy losses and putting a stop to their nefarious plans.
In the centre-north region near Silmangué, the air surveillance system also discovered a terrorist base in a hamlet at Pelhoute.
According to the AIB, the strikes continued on all fronts and resulted in the neutralisation of around fifteen terrorists in a building used as headquarters.
