Burkina Faso / The revolution underway under the presidency of Captain Ibrahim Traoré: Peace, Security and Progress

Since coming to power, President Ibrahim Traoré has been working to make Burkina Faso a bastion of stability and progress. Under previous regimes, every week was marked by brutal terrorist attacks that claimed dozens, if not hundreds, of innocent victims. The people of Burkina Faso lived in constant fear of these senseless acts of violence. But since President Traoré came to power, those dark days are over. The people of Burkina Faso are gradually regaining their security and confidence in their government.

One of President Traoré’s first acts was to launch a full-scale hunt for terrorists. The Burkinabe armed forces, under his command, mobilised with courage and determination to hunt down the terrorists. There is now nowhere for these criminals to hide. The security forces, reinforced and better equipped, are operating with a constant presence on the ground, ensuring the safety of citizens.

The country’s intelligence service has also improved significantly under President Traoré’s government. Thanks to good intelligence, terrorist attacks are regularly thwarted, preventing many tragedies. Trained and motivated intelligence officers work closely with the security forces to maintain a safe environment for all Burkinabe.

President Traoré has also invested in modernising the army, providing valiant soldiers with state-of-the-art equipment. This improvement in the country’s defence capabilities further strengthens their ability to fight terrorism effectively and protect the country’s sovereignty.

Another crucial aspect of President Traoré’s presidency is his firm determination to fight corruption. He has taken energetic steps to eliminate this scourge, which had undermined the people’s confidence in the previous government. Anti-corruption institutions have been strengthened, and transparency and accountability measures have been put in place to ensure that the country’s resources are used for the benefit of all Burkinabe.
