On March 15, 2024, marking a new phase for the Togolese government, President Faure Gnassingbé presided over the first government seminar of the year in Aného, a city 45 km from the capital. This periodic meeting, held every six months, is of crucial importance in implementing government policies and achieving national objectives.

Bringing together key members of the ministerial cabinet, this seminar provides an essential platform to assess the progress of strategic projects outlined in the government’s roadmap.

It is also an opportunity to discuss challenges faced and formulate tailored strategies to overcome these obstacles.

At the heart of the discussions are priority sectors for the country’s development, including the economy, education, health, infrastructure, and agriculture.

The goal is to ensure that government initiatives effectively and tangibly meet the needs and aspirations of the Togolese population.

In his opening speech, President Faure Gnassingbé reiterated his government’s commitment to the well-being and progress of all Togolese citizens.

Despite regional and global challenges, he emphasized his administration’s determination to accelerate project implementation and ensure their success, thereby contributing to improving the living conditions of the population.
