Olivia ROUAMBA, Ambassador, Minister Plenipotentiary, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation and Burkinabe Abroad, strives daily to promote Burkina Faso’s diplomacy in the four corners of the world, in a context of fight against terrorism and national reconciliation.

In 2022, she left her position as ambassador after just one year to take up her new responsibilities. At the head of her ministry, Mrs. Olivia ROUAMBA, does well what she knows how to do since she has assumed several responsibilities in the ministry she leads today.

The urgent challenges are enormous: fighting terrorism, restoring the integrity of the national territory, providing an effective and urgent response to the humanitarian crisis and the socio-economic and community dramas caused by insecurity, to name but a few. To meet these challenges, Burkina Faso needs the commitment of all its sons and daughters, both inside and outside the country, to emerge from this difficult situation.
