The priority of the Burkinabe Government remains the reconquest of the national territory and the return of internally displaced persons to their places of origin. In his counterterrorism efforts, the President of the Burkina Faso Revolution has committed to diversifying partnerships against terrorism. This diversity is based on the principles of sincerity, freedom, and territorial independence.

Heartfelt partners have agreed to support Burkina Faso. The United States Institute of Peace has expressed its willingness to assist the Burkinabe Government in facing the current challenges.

The Japan International Cooperation Agency is also ready to provide equipment for road maintenance and programs for human resource development, particularly in agriculture in Burkina Faso.

Under the leadership of the President of the Burkinabe Revolution, the Kingdom of Denmark has renewed its commitments to Burkina Faso.

This resumption of funding reflects the firm determination of the Kingdom of Denmark to support Burkina Faso not only in its counterterrorism efforts, but also in  its other challenges and its journey towards development.

In the context of highway development, the Burkinabe Government has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese state-owned company, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation.

The Ouagadougou-Bobo-Dioulasso section and the Yamoussoukro-Ouagadougou highway are the two flagship projects.

With this signing, Burkina Faso now expects proposals from the Chinese side in terms of offers. It should be noted that emphasis will be placed on the quality of the infrastructure to be constructed.

According to the Burkinabe diplomat, H.E. Mrs. Olivia Rouamba, «Burkina Faso remains open to any sincere assistance that could help stabilize the situation».
