Mali: President Assimi Goïta’s social initiatives provide relief to 500 vulnerable families in Fana

As part of his national solidarity policy, the President of the Transition in Mali, Army General Assimi Goïta, continues his efforts in favor of the most vulnerable populations. Through his social works, he is multiplying initiatives aimed at supporting families in difficulty. On Friday, March 13, 2026, a new operation to distribute food kits was organized in the Fana circle, providing concrete assistance to hundreds of households facing daily challenges.

The donation ceremony took place in the presence of the administrative, religious, and customary authorities of the locality.

It was presided over by the Special Advisor for Social Works of the President, Aguibou Dembélé, who came to represent the Head of State.

 This mobilization testifies to the importance given by the authorities to solidarity and assistance to the most fragile social strata in the country.

In total, 500 vulnerable families benefited from kits composed of essential products such as rice, oil, pasta, powdered milk, tea, and dates.

These food items, particularly useful during this Ramadan period, contribute to improving the living conditions of the beneficiaries and strengthening the spirit of sharing within communities.

Local authorities and beneficiaries expressed their profound gratitude for this gesture of generosity.

They praised the constant commitment of the President Assimi Goïta’ to the well-being of underprivileged populations, emphasizing that these actions strengthen social cohesion and hope within Malian communities.
