Burkina Faso: Diplomats contribute to national rebuilding effort in show of solidarity
The “Faso Mêbo” initiative, a major public works campaign launched by Captain Ibrahim Traoré, continues to attract widespread support from citizens, foreign partners, and state authorities alike.
In a notable display of solidarity, the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Cooperation, and Burkinabe Abroad contributed to the national effort on August 27.
Diplomats and administrative personnel donated 20 million CFA francs and 11 tons of cement to support the project, which aims to build and rehabilitate infrastructure across the country.
