Mali: Assimi Goïta receives report highlighting progress on national reforms

His Excellency General Assimi Goïta, President of the Transition and Head of State, presided over the ceremony for the presentation of the 3rd annual report from the Independent Committee for Monitoring and Evaluating the Implementation of the National refoundation Forum Recommendations (CINSERE-FNR).
The event, held on Thursday August 28th 2025, was attended by the nation’s highest authorities, including the President of the National Transition Council, General Malick Diaw, and the Prime Minister, General Abdoulaye Maïga.
The committee presented the report’s key findings, highlighting significant progress in implementing the forum’s recommendations.
It emphasized the relevance of the ongoing reforms and the constant commitment of the authorities to translating the people’s aspirations into concrete action.

Notable achievements detailed in the report include the commissioning of new dialysis units, marking a major advancement for the national healthcare system.
The report also cited the reinforcement of numerous health centers and hospitals through the installation of solar panels, an initiative improving energy availability and care quality.
Furthermore, the document noted the completion of over 400 water boreholes across the country in both rural and urban areas.
This critical infrastructure improves population living conditions by increasing access to clean water, a vital issue for public health and community development.
