Football/ Niger’s Mena to face Libya and Togo in Morocco friendly tournament
The national football team of Niger will participate in friendly matches during the March international break as part of the sixth edition of “Morocco, Capital of African Football,” scheduled to take place from March 23 to 31, 2026, in Casablanca and other Moroccan cities.
The Mena will face Libya on March 27, followed by a match against Togo on March 31. The exact stadiums and kickoff times will be announced at a later date, according to tournament organizers.
This friendly tournament provides Niger with valuable preparation opportunities as the team continues to build cohesion and test strategies against regional opponents.
Both Libya and Togo present distinct challenges that will allow Nigerien coaches to evaluate player performances and tactical approaches in a competitive setting.
