Football/ Qatar to host 2026 Finalissima between Spain and Argentina

Qatar will stage the 2026 Finalissima, a prestigious intercontinental showdown between European champions Spain and South American champions Argentina. The match is scheduled for March 27, 2026, at Lusail Stadium in Doha the iconic venue where Argentina clinched the 2022 FIFA World Cup.

This event reinforces Qatar’s status as a global football hub, leveraging its world-class infrastructure and experience hosting major tournaments. For Argentina, it marks a symbolic return to the site of their historic World Cup triumph.

Spain enters the contest as the top-ranked FIFA nation, making its debut in this revived competition.
