Arsenal: Max Dowman broke another record

At just 15 years and 302 days, Max Dowman has broken another record, becoming the youngest player ever to start a match for Arsenal. The teenage winger was a standout in the Gunners’ EFL Cup victory over Brighton, confirming the excitement that has surrounded him at the club.

Manager Mikel Arteta, who made ten changes to his side, praised Dowman’s unflappable nature. “For him everything is natural,” Arteta said, noting the player’s response to his first start was merely “a tiny smile.”

On the pitch, Dowman’s performance was anything but quiet. He led all players in dribbles (5), fouls won (4), and duels won (9), repeatedly showcasing an “incredible” ability to run past opponents.

Alongside fellow debutant Andre Harriman-Annous, Dowman has not only fulfilled a dream but has emphatically signaled the arrival of a special talent, leaving Arsenal fans eagerly anticipating his next move.
