Burkina Faso: Commitment and dedication – Minister Mahamadou SANA, alongside the defence and security forces

The Minister of Security of Burkina Faso, Mahamadou Sana, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to national security during a recent tour of Bam province. Accompanied by senior officials, he met directly with the Defense and Security Forces (FDS), Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP), and local authorities.
This initiative is part of the government’s ongoing efforts to provide on-the-ground support and strengthen ties with those working daily for the nation’s peace and security.
During the visit, the minister reiterated the steadfast support of the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, whose vision places territorial integrity and national sovereignty at the heart of the country’s priorities.
Minister Sana encouraged security personnel to remain vigilant, uphold professionalism, and enhance coordination to successfully complete their missions, while also praising their bravery and high sense of duty.
Beyond security matters, Mahamadou Sana also participated in an “Excellence Day” ceremony, honoring high-achieving students and teachers.
This gesture underscores his commitment to education, a key sector for the nation’s future, as he commended the efforts of educators and local authorities in promoting schooling despite ongoing challenges.
Finally, the minister highlighted the resilience of the Burkinabe people in the face of terrorist attacks and called for increased efforts to combat the financing of terrorism.
He emphasized that by strengthening collaboration and community vigilance, every citizen has a role to play in preserving peace and security.
