Thomas Partey’s trial date set for 2026 amid rape and sexual assault charges

Ghanaian footballer Thomas Partey appeared at Southwark Crown Court on Wednesday september 17th, 2025  for a hearing related to multiple charges of rape and sexual assault. The Villarreal midfielder, who recently faced Tottenham in London with his club, once again pleaded not guilty to all accusations.

The court has set a trial date for November 2, 2026. The case will be presided over by a High Court judge at the same venue.

Partey, 32, was released on bail under strict conditions, which include a prohibition on contacting the three alleged victims. He is also required to inform police of any change of address or international travel plans.

The former Arsenal player, who left the North London club earlier this year, continues to maintain his innocence.
