Burkina Faso: Captain Ibrahim Traoré, resolutely advances sustainable development through the Presidential initiative Faso Mêbo

President of Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, is steadfastly continuing his commitment to sustainable development through the presidential initiative Faso Mêbo. Last Friday, he handed over a second batch of 764 pieces of equipment of various categories to the National Coordinator of the Initiative.

This equipment is destined for the brigades deployed in the Yaadga, Koulsé, Goulmou, and Bankui regions.

This donation will bolster their operational capacity on the ground to accelerate the construction of local infrastructure.

During the ceremony, the Head of State commended the actors already mobilized and emphasized the necessity of putting the uipment to good use.

He stated that these tools must be seen as levers to address urgent infrastructure needs, all while aligning with a sustainable development dynamic. “Make good use of them! May God bless those who will operate them on your sites,” he stated firmly.

President Ibrahim Traoré underscored that the involvement of local populations is the key to success.

He believes that sustainable infrastructure cannot exist without the active participation of local communities, from the planning stages through to maintenance.

He therefore urged regional governors to intensify their efforts in raising public awareness to ensure communities fully embrace the vision of Faso Mêbo.

Finally, the Head of State instructed the Minister of Infrastructures, Adama Luc Sorgo, to provide the necessary technical expertise to support the brigades.

The National Coordinator, receiving this second batch following the one delivered on March 27th, committed to working diligently to translate the presidential vision into tangible results. This reaffirms that Faso Mêbo is at the heart of Burkina Faso’s sustainable development strategy.
