Burkina Faso: The heroic commitment of the Burkinabe armed forces against terrorism

In Burkina Faso, the Defence and Security Forces (FDS) are waging a courageous and determined fight against terrorism. Every day, on the ground, they advance with self-sacrifice to recapture areas affected by insecurity. This fight is being waged with a deep sense of duty and sincere love for the homeland.
Under the leadership of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, the Burkinabe army has been transformed into a more organised, more responsive force that is closer to the people.
Operations are multiplying in the Centre-North, Sahel, East and Boucle du Mouhoun regions, with concrete results: terrorist bases dismantled, enemy combatants neutralised, and populations liberated.
The soldiers, often young, show remarkable courage despite the difficult conditions and constant dangers.
This mobilisation is not limited to the military. Volunteers for the Defence of the Homeland (VDP), drawn from local communities, bravely support the FDS.
Together, they form a united front, a symbol of Burkinabe resilience. The government, aware of their sacrifice, is strengthening logistical resources, intelligence capabilities and regional cooperation to better anticipate threats.
Thanks to them, the country is recovering, regaining its territory and protecting its children. Every advance on the ground is a victory for the entire nation.
