Niger/ General Tiani received Pan-African activist Nathalie Yamb in landmark meeting

His Excellency General Abdourahamane Tiani, President of the Republic of Niger, granted on August,11th 2025 an audience to renowned Pan-African activist Nathalie Yamb. The staunch advocate for African sovereignty traveled to Niamey to reaffirm her unwavering support for the leaders and peoples of the Alliance of Sahel States (AES).
Despite facing arbitrary sanctions from the European Union, Yamb continues to champion Africa’s emancipation.
Her visit underscores her commitment to just causes and her solidarity with nations pursuing dignity and true independence.
Joined by Abdourahamane Oumarou (alias “Abder”), President of Urgence Panafricaniste Niger, Nathalie Yamb praised Niger and its AES partners for their relentless efforts in reclaiming economic, political, and military sovereignty.
She emphasized that this struggle transcends the AES, embodying Africa’s collective aspiration to break free from foreign interference.
This symbolic meeting reflects the growing strategic alliances between sovereignist leaders and committed African civil society actors, signaling a united front in reshaping the continent’s future.
