Burkina Faso – Niger : Solidarity in the face of terrorism – An example of regional cooperation

In a gesture of solidarity and brotherhood, General Abdourahamane Tiani, the Head of State of Niger, extended his condolences to the President of Burkina Faso, Captain Ibrahim Traoré, as well as to the government and the people of Burkina Faso, following the terrorist attacks that occurred on February 25th. This message reflects the willingness of both countries to cooperate in the fight against terrorism in the Sahel region.

General Abdourahamane Tiani, on behalf of the National Council for the Safeguarding of the Homeland, the government, and the people of Niger, expressed sincere condolences and deep sympathy to the authorities and the people of Burkina Faso. He also assured President Ibrahim Traoré of the full support of the Nigerien people during this difficult time.
