Burkina Faso / Major mobilisation for progress and solidarity: Towards a better future

Burkina Faso is preparing for a memorable day of national mobilisation and solidarity. September, 30th 2023 will mark an important date in the country’s history, as the “30 September Movement” organises a major nationwide mobilisation. The flagship events will take place at «the Palais des Sports» in Ouagadougou and «the Maison de la Culture» in Bobo-Dioulasso, but activities will also be held in other regions of Burkina Faso, under the theme: popularising the achievements, reforms and prospects of the MPSR2.

The programme for this special day will include

Forums in Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso: Two main forums will be held in these two cities, bringing together experts and opinion leaders to discuss crucial issues for the country.

Discussions will focus on supporting efforts to combat terrorist attacks in Burkina Faso, with an emphasis on the role of opinion leaders in this vital national security endeavour.

The forum will explore the possibility of creating a federation between the states of Burkina Faso, Guinea, Mali and Niger, with a focus on promoting popular shareholding to this end and supporting watchdog and development committees. Operation Blood Donation, a major National Patriotic Rally.

The aim is to demonstrate the unity and determination of the people to build a better future for Burkina Faso.

Voluntary contributions will also be called for to support the widows and orphans of military personnel who have sacrificed their lives for the nation, thus demonstrating solidarity with those who have served the country.

All citizens are invited to get ready to join in this mobilisation on September,30th, 2023.

Together, to make significant progress for Burkina Faso by highlighting achievements, ongoing reforms and future prospects.
