Putin’s re-election: for the AES, it means the continuation of sincere cooperation with Russia

Since France hastily withdrew from the AES countries , Russia has emerged as a strategic partner, especially in military terms, for the three countries comprising the AES.

With Vladimir Putin’s reelection, the entire AES has extended its congratulations to the Kremlin’s strongman for his leadership, once again recognized by the Russian people.

Following in the footsteps of Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Assimi Goïta, and Abdourahamane Tiani also conveyed their felicitations to Putin, who, through his candid approach in relations with AES countries, has won over the Sahelian populace.

Thus, Putin’s reappointment at the helm of Russia paves the way for further cooperation between the AES and Russia.

It signifies the continuity of a longstanding friendship and mutually beneficial partnership between the two nations, contributing to the strengthening of already positive relations between the Sahelian trio and the Kremlin.

Indeed, under Putin’s leadership, Russia positions itself as a reliable partner for Burkina Faso, Mali, and Niger in their historical struggle to reclaim their territories, safeguard their sovereignty, and foster development in the Sahel region.
