In a tightly contested match, Inter Miami suffered a 3-2 defeat against Montreal in the 4th round of the MLS. Despite the absence of Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, the Florida-based franchise had to fight hard to try to turn the tide at home.

Already without two of their star players, Inter Miami faced a challenging task. The game started with an early goal from Montreal, with Francisco Alvarez finding the back of the net in the 13th minute.

Faced with this adversity, the team led by Jordi Alba tried to get back into the game in the first half, but their attempts did not materialize.

The second half saw  the Miami team find the equalizer through Campana. However, Montreal responded with determination, adding two more goals through CĂ³ccaro and Sunusi.

Jordi Alba gave hope to his team by narrowing the gap in the 80th minute, intensifying the end of the match.

Despite an extended injury time, Inter Miami failed to equalize, conceding a 3-2 defeat.

This inconsistent performance highlights the challenges Inter Miami faces in the absence of its major figures, Messi and Suarez, and raises questions about their ability to maintain their position in the MLS without these two renowned talents.
