Burkina-Faso: Presentation of the letters of credence of the new Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

On Thursday, December 7, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Burkina Faso, H.E Sherif Abdelkader Abdellatif NADA, formally presented copies of his credentials to Burkina Faso’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E Mrs. Olivia ROUAMBA.

Expressing both pleasure and honor at the commencement of his tenure as ambassador to Burkina Faso, H.E Sherif Abdelkader Abdellatif NADA   conveyed his commitment to building on the accomplishments of his predecessor.

His primary goal is to enhance and solidify the bilateral relations between Egypt and Burkina Faso.

In response, H.E. Mrs. Olivia Rouamba, Burkina Faso’s Head of Diplomacy, congratulated Ambassador NADA and assured him of her department’s full support in carrying out his diplomatic mission, as was the case for his predecessor.

Acknowledging the strong ties between Burkina Faso and the Arab Republic of Egypt, particularly in the realm of defense, Mrs. Rouamba emphasized that Burkina Faso now places great value on its sovereignty and is dedicated to seeking endogenous solutions based on its own realities.

«I have thus encouraged the new diplomat to align with this approach, anticipating the upcoming joint cooperation commission meeting between the two nations scheduled for 2024», declared H.E. Mrs. Olivia ROUAMBA, emphasizing the importance of continued collaboration between Burkina Faso and Egypt.
