Adétikopé Industrial platform: A key hub for Togo’s industrial growth

The Adétikopé Industrial Platform (PIA) is rapidly establishing itself as a pillar of Togo’s industrialization strategy, attracting a growing number of investors. Currently, over twenty national and international companies have set up operations within the zone, with several already in full production.

A high-level meeting on January 28, 2025, led by Manuella Santos, Minister of Investment Promotion, highlighted these achievements.

The session, which included representatives from the Investment and Free Zones Promotion Agency (API-ZF) and business leaders, focused on progress assessment, key challenges, and government support to enhance industrial competitiveness.

According to the ministry, the discussions reaffirmed the state’s commitment to facilitating business operations. « 95% of companies present acknowledged receiving adequate support and concrete solutions to their concerns, » the ministry reported, underscoring the effectiveness of existing institutional measures.

As part of the visit, the minister and her delegation toured three major production sites: Vivace Groupe, Brillante Industrie, and Star Garment.

Specializing in textiles, apparel, and construction, these enterprises reflect the platform’s industrial diversification and its impact on employment creation.

Since its launch in 2021, the PIA has played a central role in Togo’s economic transformation, with a target of creating 25,000 jobs by 2030. Its continued expansion reinforces its position as a catalyst for national development.
