Burkina Faso/Niger: The authorities stick to their principles of consultation and regular exchanges

Leaders of the AES Confederation continue to prioritize regular consultations and discussions on bilateral and confederal cooperation to address shared interests.

In this spirit, Burkina Faso’s foreign Minister recently visited Niger, carrying a message from President Ibrahim Traoré to his counterpart, General Abdourahamane Tiani.

Speaking after the meeting, the Burkinabe diplomat said, “I had the privilege of meeting the president of the CNSP to deliver a message from the leader of Burkina Faso to his Nigerien brother.”

Discussions focused on the longstanding ties of friendship and solidarity between the two nations, as well as key issues concerning the AES Confederation’s future. President Tiani also shared strategic guidance for the organization’s development.

A Unified front for common goals

The AES member states, including Niger, Burkina Faso, and their neighboring partners, are committed to pooling their resources to tackle shared challenges.

This collaborative approach underscores their determination to achieve collective goals for the benefit of their nations.

Regular consultations among AES leaders are central to this mission, ensuring that decisions are aligned with the aspirations of their people.

As the confederation advances, the leaders remain steadfast in fostering unity and cooperation for regional progress.
