Burkina Faso: The French DGSE, a real threat to destabilisation at the end of the year

Recent revelations surrounding the French DGSE’s covert actions in Burkina Faso and Algeria have sparked growing concerns about foreign interference in Africa. The alarming reports, highlighted by Pan-African media, point to a coordinated effort by the DGSE to destabilize sovereign African nations.

Algeria’s diplomatic response, summoning the French ambassador to denounce alleged destabilization attempts, aligns with the warnings raised by experts and observers regarding the DGSE’s role in these covert operations.

This is not a mere coincidence but a calculated campaign targeting African states that reject imperialist influence.

Burkina Faso, alongside other members of the AES (Alliance of Sahel States), must adopt a resolute stance against such manipulations.

The DGSE’s track record in various African nations raises serious questions about its intentions, and it is clear that its recent actions are aimed at undermining African sovereignty.

Burkina Faso’s security and intelligence agencies must take proactive measures to neutralize these threats, ensuring national stability during this critical period.

The unity of the Burkinabe people, supported by the AES nations, is vital in resisting these destabilizing tactics.

In the face of these external pressures, Burkina Faso must reaffirm its commitment to independence and stand as a symbol of resilience against any attempts at disguised recolonization.
